May 24 May Madness – Fundraiser for Fourth of July Fireworks

Community Event with dinner, fun, prizes galore. Join us for an evening of that Cayucos hometown enjoyment and get to know some more of your neighbors at the same time. Vet’s Hall 6-9pm, tickets $150.00 per couple

July 4-6 Peddler’s Faire 7am-4pm - Cayucos Creek Lot (between Hardie Park and Ocean. Ave.)

Take a stroll along the many vendors selling antiques, homemade products, flea market items, clothing, jewelry, and more. Bring an appetite too, whether you choose to satisfy it with delectables from visiting vendors or some of Cayucos’ great eateries.

July 4 Independence Day

Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?)They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July!

Reminder: Please leave fireworks at home. No fires or fireworks on beach.

July 26-27 Portuguese Celebration

Saturday 5pm - free 'sopas' a traiditon Portuguese dish followed by the Rosary and then American and traiditional Portuguese folk dnacing from 8pm til midnight.
The Grand March will be at 9pm.
Sunday, the parade begins at 10:30 am followed by Mass at St Josephs Catholic Church at 11am and a bbq of top sirloin, beans and salad for $15.
There will be an auction at 2pm and the raffle drawing immediately afterwards.
The celebration is open to the public

Sept. 20-21 Central Coast Woodcarvers 30th Annual Show

More that 30 local and statewide carvers display their craft. Demonstrations, contest and raffles; tools and carvings for sale.
Sat. 10am-5pm, Sun. 10am-4pm
Cayucos Vet’s Hall--- Adults $2, under 12, free

October 19 Antique Street Sale 7am-4pm---Downtown, Ocean Ave.

Come one, come all! There is something for everyone at this sale. Downtown Ocean Ave. becomes a pedestrian zone while browsers and shoppers can checkout the many goods being offered by local and visiting vendors. Food is also on the menu, be it from a Cayucos eatery or one of our visiting vendors.

November 1 Annual Cayucos Car Show 9am-4pm---Downtown, Ocean Ave.

This event is sold out every year! Awesome cars, good music, beer Garden, BBQ at the Vet’s Hall (free for registered participants).

November 7 Annual Cayucos Wine & Food Festival 4-8pm---Vet’s Hall

A fun gathering with local wineries and eateries. Come with your friends and meet your neighbors. Get a taste of the Central Coast!

December 7 Town Christmas Tree Lighting 5pm---Corner of Ocean & “D” St.

A great evening to bring in the Christmas Season. Leave the holiday stress at home and join us for the festivities. Christmas carols, visit from Santa, hot cider & cookies

January 1 Polar Bear Dip at Cayucos Pier

Festivities begin at 9:30am, dip at noon

March 2nd Annual Women’s Surf Contest South side of pier

Women belong to the surf culture too. Here’s your chance, young and young at heart, to take part in some real fun. Prizes, t-shirts,, goodie bags, and BBQ (free for contestants). This year we’re inviting boogie boarders too, so there’s no excuse not to get wet!
