July 4 Independence Day
Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?)They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July!
Please leave fireworks at home. No fires, fireworks or alcohol on beach.

July 18 46th Annual Rock to Pier Fun Run and 2nd Running of Rock'n Around the Pier Half-Marathon
2015 marks the 46th running of the Rock to Pier Fun Run. The run/walk is approximately 6 miles in length and takes place on the hard packed sand from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. Have more fun with the 4th Annual Rock'n Around the Pier Half-Marathon where runners have the option to run back to the Rock to compete in a 13.1 mile race. 60th Annual Cayucos Carnival and Fall Fundraiser
