June 20-21 55th Annual Summer Gem and Mineral Show
Saturday: 9am-5pm, Sunday: 10am-5pm, Cayucos Vet's Hall
Featuring dealers selling gems, minerals, fossils, carvings, jewelry, beads, jade, crystals, meteorites, lapidary and metaphysical items. Jewelry-making demonstration. Free parking, free admission, and free door prizes. Free drawing at the end of the show on Sunday. Incredibly-tasting Santa Maria-style barbecue outside on the patio in back. July 4 Independence Day
Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?)They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July!
Please leave fireworks at home. No fires, fireworks or alcohol on beach.

All events held at the Cayucos Vet's Hall, except for Mass. This celebration is open to the public.
Saturday: 5:00pm Linguica Sandwiches; 6:30pm Rosary; 7:00pm Folk dancing; 8:00pm Grand March and Presentation of Past Queens
Sunday 10:30amParade; followed by 11:00am Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church;

July 18 46th Annual Rock to Pier Fun Run and 2nd Running of Rock'n Around the Pier Half-Marathon
2015 marks the 46th running of the Rock to Pier Fun Run. The run/walk is approximately 6 miles in length and takes place on the hard packed sand from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. Have more fun with the 4th Annual Rock'n Around the Pier Half-Marathon where runners have the option to run back to the Rock to compete in a 13.1 mile race. August 14-16 25th Annual Cayucos Capers A2 Square Dance Festival
Cayucos School Multipurpose Room.
Come join dancers from all over the United States and around the world. World Class Recording Artists and Square Dance Callers: Jet Roberts and Joe Saltel along with David & Susan Kleek Cueing the Round Dancing.

August 16 Mainstream Dance
2-4:30pm, Cayucos School Multipurpose Room
Join us after the Cayucos Capers A2 Square Dance Festival for a Mainstream Dance with Featured Caller and Recording Artist Darren Gallina. 50/50 drawing, raffles, refreshments and lots of fun! September 19 31st Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day
9am-12noon, Estero Bluffs. Cayucos Land Conservancy is hosting the cleanup on Estero Bluffs at "Killers" surf spot, the 3rd large pullout north of Cayucos. October TBA 60th Annual Cayucos Carnival and Fall Fundraiser
1pm-5pm, Cayucos School, 301 Cayucos Drive.
Come join us for a FREE family and community event. A family tradition for generations. Proceeds benefit school enrichment programs in the arts. Over 100 silent auction items, including hotel stays, custom art pieces and jewelry, fine dining, and much more. This is truly a carnival for everyone. While grown-ups are bidding on bargains at the silent auction, kids can frolic around and be entertained by FREE games and entertainment. FREE admission. BBQ, sno-cones, coffees and pastries. December 12 Bluff Walk hosted by the Cayucos Land Conservancy
As part of the town's annual Christmas in Cayucos celebration, the Cayucos Land Conservancy is offering a nature walk. Walks are 1-1.5 hours long.

8:30am, Morro Rock. 10k walk/run for foster and high-needs children and families. This run takes place on the waters edge, from Morro Bay to Cayucos Pier. Your participation in Miracle Miles for Kids helps FCNI (Family Care Network, Inc.) make a difference in the lives of those it serves, helping to meet needs such as: housing, clothing, mentoring, life skills development, extra-curricular activities and therapeutic services, of the over 1,400 children, youth and families served by FCNI annually .
